UXBRIDGE, U.K., March 27, 2017 – Xerox U.K. has been awarded a place on the new Clinical & Digital Information Systems Framework Agreement (CDIS), launched by NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP).
Xerox has secured supplier status for Lot 3: Interoperability and Interfacing, Clinical and Patient Portals, Informatics and Reporting, Electronic Document Management and Multi-Functional Devices.
CDIS was created to enable health and social care organisations to comply with the Government’s Personalised Health and Care 2020 agenda.
As part of the agreement, Xerox is now able to provide a range of services through the framework, including:
- Managed print services (Lot 3.1)
- Hybrid mail (Lot 3.2)
- External print (Lot 3.3)
- Electronic document and records management systems (Lot 3.4)
These offerings will assist the NHS in its move from paper-based to digital workflows and the provision of in-house or off-site print services.
“It is increasingly critical to bridge the gap between paper and digital in order to improve patient care,” said Andrew Morrison, managing director, Xerox U.K. and Ireland. “With our research telling us that most public sector organisations expect to have achieved this by 2018, the transition needs to be as seamless as possible, which is where carefully chosen partnerships and initiatives like this framework are vital. Together we are committed to ensuring the NHS can achieve more through digital transformation.”
As a supplier to the U.K. government and public sector for more than 40 years, Xerox provides document management and technology to a wide range of public sector organisations including the Department of Work and Pensions, Luton & Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Newport City Council.
