UXBRIDGE, U.K., June 5th, 2014 - At Transports Publics 2014, Xerox will show its latest innovations in intelligent transport solutions dedicated to public transportation.
"Our knowledge of terminals and the entire ticketing system, our team of qualified engineers and our international reach allows us to manage projects throughout the world," said Jean-Charles Caulier, sales director, EMEA, Xerox International Transportation and Government Group.
On display on Xerox’s stand (K34) will be:
• ATLAS® Data Mining. Xerox uses analytics to understand travel patterns and passenger behaviour. ATLAS Data Mining provides insight and early identification of trends so transport companies can tailor their offerings to the needs of travellers in order to serve them better, optimise network utilisation and reduce operating costs.
• QR code recognition integrated in our contactless reader, enabling account based ticketing for public transport users. Real time ticket validation (printed or from a smart phone) speeds boarding and reduces the use of forged tickets and fraud.
• ATLAS® Fleet & Info. With this service passenger information and fleet management are integrated in a single ticketing management system. Using smartphones, passengers can get real time information on schedules and delays of different modes of transport.
Xerox specialists will be available to demonstrate the ATLAS Data Mining and ATLAS Fleet & Information solutions.
Transports Publics 2014 takes place at the Paris-Expo, Porte de Versailles, Hall 1 from June 10-12, 2014.
