UXBRIDGE, U.K., June 1, 2016 – At Parkex 2016, Xerox will demonstrate its latest solutions in off-street and on-street parking and mobility management.
“Xerox has been helping transportation clients in over 35 countries for more than 40 years,” said David Jones, general manager, Xerox Urban Mobility. “We have developed a range of solutions to address the challenges of urban mobility in order to help make cities more liveable, the latest of which will be on display at Parkex 2016.”
On stand D60 at Parkex 2016 Xerox will show its latest off-street parking solution, the Xerox Multipark Codex Parking system that features:
- 2D barcode technology that enables ultra-fast processing of tickets and improved traffic flow at car park entry and exit.
- Ticketless parking management capability – replacing paper tickets for entry, payment and exit, with NFC smartphone and license plate recognition (LPR). This enables faster throughput at entry and exit and does away with the need for customers to use and retain paper tickets, and parking operators to buy ticket consumables.
Xerox will also display Compliance™, a market leading parking enforcement back office software encompassing notice processing, permit management and workflow management modules.
Richard Harris, solutions director, International Public Sector, Xerox, will be participating in the Parkex Hub:
- June 15th at 9.50am, he will speak about “Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and the future of parking” and at 12.30pm, he will be a panellist in the BPA panel session “The Internet of Things, what is it and why does it matter?”
- June 16th at 11.45am, he will speak about “Changing the way drivers look for parking spaces.”
Parkex 2016 takes place from June 15-16, 2016 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. For further information on Xerox at Parkex 2016 visit: https://www.xerox.com/en-gb/services/transport-solutions/insights/parkex-2016
