London, 26 November 2013 – Xerox has announced the launch of its Creative and Digital Production Services, a managed service for adapting the design of digital content to any form of digital device or channel.

Designed to streamline digital communications and content publishing, the new service allows digital content to be made fluid. It can be adapted for any channel, device, format or screen size, supporting multi-channel communications from a single source.

With the proliferation of smartphones, tablets, phablets, social media and mobile apps; managing digital content for marketing or advertising campaigns has become increasingly complex. Marketers are now challenged with creating digital content that can seamlessly work across any of these channels without escalating costs.

The service draws on a variety of technologies to enable the display of content to adapt to the user’s screen size and orientation. This ensures it stays user-friendly, professional and functional regardless of which smartphone, tablet or PC it’s viewed on.

This ultimately allows companies to produce digital communications more quickly, more cost effectively, and ensure a consistent brand experience across channels and devices.

“Making content more fluid means that marketers can quickly tailor content to each customer’s preferences,” said Julie Hesselgrove, president of Xerox’s Communication and Marketing Services group. “No matter how good your content is, consumers will quickly become irritated trying to absorb it if it isn’t optimised for the device they are using.”

“This service is designed to help marketers prepare their materials for the future of customer engagement, no matter how that manifests itself,” said Hesselgrove.

The service also speeds up the creation and approval of artwork through collaborative proofing tools, workflow and digital asset management technology.
