UXBRIDGE, U.K., March 3, 2016 – Interactive Intelligence, a global supplier of software and cloud services, has honoured Xerox with a Partnership Award for the company’s contribution to an innovative Apple Watch application for contact centres. Xerox and Interactive Intelligence developed the application in conjunction with KPN, a leading supplier of information communication technology services, for whom Xerox also provides contact centre services.
The app, which has been deployed at Xerox contact centres at two locations in the Netherlands and one in Surinam, provides real time management information such as how many agents are logged in, average call waiting times and the number of calls answered.
“This innovative app, developed by Xerox in conjunction with partners, enables Xerox and its clients, such as KPN, to have up-to-date, at-a-glance information on the level of service being provided.” said Kim de Boer, director, Interactive Intelligence.
The Apple Watch app, which already provides a large number of screens of information, will soon have the option of displaying pie charts. Ultimately, all essential management information will be available on the app to all users, wherever they are. Related apps will also be available for use on the Apple iPhone and iPads/tablets.
