UXBRIDGE, U.K., 24 September 2013 -- Xerox today announced that leading digital and litho print provider, Odessa Print Group, has installed a Xerox iGen4® Press coupled with Xerox FreeFlow® Web Services software to provide a fast, flexible and high quality infrastructure for its new small format and point of sale (POS) print offerings.

The installation of the iGen, at Odessa’s Biggin Hill premises, has allowed the provider to complete jobs in house that were previously outsourced or turned away.

As a result Odessa’s customer base is growing month on month, with both new and existing clients now relying on Odessa for smaller scale print jobs as well as large format work.

“With the addition of the Xerox iGen we are confident that our print infrastructure is in the best possible position to enable us to move forward into the rapidly progressing and increasingly demanding marketplace,” explained Bob Charles, managing director, Odessa Print Group.

“Building a ‘complete print’ portfolio is essential to us and something we will continue to develop across all of our areas of expertise. For a company breaking into the small format market the iGen is ideal – it really was the missing piece of our jigsaw.”

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in London, Odessa has grown to become a key full service provider to the outdoor and retail point of sale sectors.

Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K., said: “When it comes to introducing a completely new revenue stream it must be done with careful consideration. The Xerox iGen Press couples high quality output with fast, efficient turnaround times – providing Odessa with the perfect platform for continued growth in their business and progression as a full-service print provider.”
