Uxbridge, 27 June 2011 – Materials handling specialist Briggs Equipment can now produce important business documents in full colour on its own premises with five newly installed Xerox ColorQube 9200 series multifunction printers.
“The Xerox ColorQube printers have enabled us to produce a whole range of documents more effectively and efficiently” said Tony Whitehouse, print and mailroom operator, Briggs Equipment UK. “The cost savings offered by the Xerox ColorQube devices currently stand at over £3,000 per year. When we’ve replaced another eleven machines with ColorQubes, we’ll be making huge cost savings on colour printing every year.”
With advanced technology that simplifies use and maintenance, the ColorQube 9200 series devices print, scan and copy – all in one machine. Staffordshire-based Briggs Equipment, a long-standing Xerox customer, chose the multifunction systems for their ability to make colour printing more affordable with a lower environmental impact.
Malcolm Glynn, Office product marketing manager, Xerox UK and Ireland, explained: “With the Xerox ColorQube 9200 Series, customers pay only for the amount of colour they use on a given page. For example, an office document with a logo or small graphic will cost the same as if it were printed in black. For a company like Briggs Equipment this means a dramatic reduction in colour printing costs.”
In addition to cost savings, the Xerox ColorQube printers will also help Briggs Equipment meet its environmental targets. “Since the ColorQube systems use solid ink technology, generating 90 per cent less supplies waste, the environmental impact of our office printing will be significantly reduced,” Whitehouse said.
Briggs Equipment UK Ltd is a leading materials handling service provider and sole distributor in Great Britain of Yale Materials Handling products.
