UXBRIDGE, U.K., June 1, 2016 – Xerox has been appointed as a certified reseller in Western Europe by Optimus, a leading supplier of management information systems (MIS) to the print industry.
The partnership allows Xerox devices to be seamlessly managed by an Optimus dash MIS solution enabling customers to effectively manage any type of business process, from sales to production control and cost management.
The collaboration also means the Optimus dash solution will integrate with both Xerox FreeFlow® Core workflow software and XMPie® Web-to-print and personalised communication software.
“By appointing Xerox as a reseller, customers are able to combine the flexibility of the Optimus dash MIS with Xerox technology so that they can better manage all aspects of their day-to-day business,” said Nicola Bisset, group managing director of Optimus.
The collaboration meets a growing demand from customers, both commercial printers and in-house print providers, that want to closely manage and automate MIS processes in a digital printing environment, as well as a traditional offset printing one.
“The Optimus dash suite enables print providers of all sizes to manage any type of product or process,” said Alan Clarke, production marketing manager, Graphics Communications Business Group, Xerox Europe. “By partnering with Optimus, we are able to offer our customers a fully comprehensive solution that can truly drive business growth.”
The Optimus dash MIS solution will be demonstrated on the XMPie and Optimus stands at drupa 2016, in Hall 8B, Messe Düsseldorf, May 31 – June 10. For more information about Xerox at drupa, visit: www.xerox.com/drupa.
