UXBRIDGE, U.K., 23 March, 2017 – Howard Hunt, a leading provider in marketing services, recently invested in the Xerox iGen 5 press to address rising market pressure to shorten the time it takes to design and print high-quality marketing documents. Since installation in December, the firm has seen the iGen 5 increase production speed by 25 per cent.
“We produce over 500 million packs per year and required a cost effective solution to continue to serve our growing customer base in 2017,” said Simon Currid, Howard Hunt. “We have a longstanding and successful relationship with Xerox so we felt confident in our decision to add the iGen 5 to our suite of Xerox products. Since installation, we’ve experienced no downtime despite handling larger print volumes.” The firm had two iGen4 presses installed in 2013.
Located in Kent, Howard Hunt provides a broad spectrum of marketing services including Direct Mail, Data CRM, Email, Design & Print services. The firm will leverage the fifth colour unit of the iGen 5, which offers orange, green or blue dry ink, to match the diverse range of brand colours required by its customers. With a stronger digital print offering, Howard Hunt is now able to focus its efforts on business growth without compromising on speedy or quality.
“Combined with the faster raster image processing (RIP) speed, Howard Hunt now has the capacity to process files of varying sizes simultaneously allowing them to take jobs to market faster, giving them the competitive advantage over other marketing services providers,” said Andrew Morrison, managing director, Xerox UK and Ireland. “This makes it possible for customers to take their campaigns to market even faster than previously possible to further impress and retain both new and existing customers.”
