UXBRIDGE, U.K., September 30, 2014 – Business supplies and services provider Irongate Group has turned once again to Xerox technology and software to support its expansion into emerging markets including confectionery photo-gifting.
The installation of the Xerox iGen® 150 Press and investment in XMPie® software will support the manufacture of niche, highly personalised products such as photo gifts and books, which require high quality, fast turnaround digital print.
A Xerox Premier Partner, Irongate has worked with Xerox for more than 20 years – transforming from a copy shop to a large-scale digital manufacturing specialist.
“Xerox products provide us with outstanding quality at a competitive price and continue to be the backbone of our business as we diversify and move into new markets,” said Adam Noble, managing director, Irongate Group.
Along with the iGen 150, Irongate’s product portfolio includes a Xerox iGen3® Press, Xerox Colour 1000 Press and two Xerox Nuvera® 144 Production Systems.
“Irongate has seen significant growth over recent years, developing into one of the largest independent business services providers in the Midlands,” said Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K. “They continue to diversify into new innovative application markets and with this iGen investment, will further solidify their footprint as a leader in the specialist print market.”
