UXBRIDGE, U.K., Nov. 6, 2018 – A growing number of European Xerox channel partners are designing and marketing custom apps, enabling workplace productivity and accelerating digital transformation by turning multifunctional printers into genuine workplace assistants.

Bringing relevance and value to their clients, channel partners can now further boost recurring post-sale revenue through a new e-commerce model that creates a global marketplace and provides a vehicle for them to sell their own apps worldwide. In addition, partners can use software templates to build simple apps and solve everyday problems for their clients regardless of their app developer skills.

To foster this innovative business model, Xerox will host its second European Personalised Application Builder (PAB) Forum Nov. 7- 8 at the Xerox Innovation Centre in the UK. The collaborative format will cover topics such as:

  • Transformation: A partner’s evolutionary path from printer reseller to workplace productivity expert
  • Innovation: Tips on how to unleash innovation within an organisation
  • Market Insights and New Offerings: Xerox’s updates on the app landscape, as well as new e-commerce capabilities making it easier for all to browse, deploy and purchase apps

EtiQube, an Italy-based company and one of Xerox’s most active app developers, has created a portfolio of software solutions that solve a wide variety of clients’ business problems. Alberto Raimondi, CEO and owner of EtiQube said, “Since we engaged in app development, the discussions with our clients have been elevated to a much more strategic level. We don´t just talk about printers but about leveraging Xerox workplace assistants to re-engineer and automate business processes, building a more productive workplace.”

“Xerox’s technology platform allows partners to up-level conversations with clients, increase their relevance while opening up incremental revenue streams,” said Bertrand Cerisier, vice president, Global Marketing, Technology & Services Offerings, Xerox. “The opportunities for our partners are boundless and we’re now making it even easier for them to market these apps.  We’re here to support them all the way.”
