UXBRIDGE -- Xerox has announced the appointment of Mark Duffelen as the new General Manager of its Scottish operation, effective immediately. This position will see Mark Duffelen take responsibility for managing all of the Xerox business divisions in Scotland.

Mark Duffelen first joined Xerox UK in 1986 and held various sales and management positions, before teaming up with a business partner to set up Xeretec Office Systems Ltd. As Managing Director, Mark Duffelen helped Xeretec grow to become the largest Xerox Premier Partner in Europe by consistently winning business across the whole Xerox product portfolio.

Mark Duffelen said, "I am very excited to be rejoining Xerox as General Manager of Scotland and having the opportunity to work with such a dynamic organisation in a fast-moving and growing market. I look forward to building on our existing success and driving forward all the Xerox business divisions in the year ahead."

Russell Peacock, Managing Director of Xerox UK said, "Scotland represents a key growth and investment area for Xerox UK. Mark has a strong understanding of our business and brings a wealth of experience to the position. I am confident that he will lead the business to exceptional growth."

A sports enthusiast, Mark has won the John Player Cup with the Leicester Tigers, captained the Henley rugby club for three years and coached the London Irish rugby club to promotion to the Premiership in only his second season. Mark has also run (and finished) the London Marathon twice.
