Uxbridge, UK, October 21st, 2010 – Xerox today announced that the Xerox wide format portfolio has recently been honoured with three Best Awards and three five star exceptional product ratings from BERTL, the independent testing laboratory.

The BERTL awards received are: 
  • Xerox® 6604 and 6605 – BERTL Best Award (Outstanding Low Volume Single Monochrome Footprint Solution) and BERTL five star exceptional product rating. The Xerox Wide Format 6604/6605 offers architectural, engineering, construction and manufacturing firms, as well as commercial print shops, an affordable option for producing black-and-white technical documents.
  • Xerox® 6279 – BERTL Best Award (Outstanding Mid Volume Single Monochrome Footprint Solution) and BERTL five star exceptional product rating. The Xerox 6279 Wide Format Printer is a mid range black-and-white digital printer, copier and scanner which features sharp image quality, fast speed, a compact footprint and low running costs. The system is flexible enough to fit in a variety of environments, including commercial print shops and architectural, engineering and construction companies.
  • Xerox 6622 – BERTL five star exceptional product rating.  The Xerox Wide Format 6622 ™ Solution delivers sharp, precise detail printing at high speeds. In addition to serving the needs of graphic communications providers, the wide format black-and-white digital printer, copier and scanner is ideal for reprographic departments within engineering, construction and architecture firms where technical drawings need to be easily accessible and replicated quickly.
  • Xerox® FreeFlow® Accxes® Controller – BERTL Best Award (Most Innovative Wide Format Printing Controller). The FreeFlow Accxes Controller, common to all Xerox wide format CAD solutions, provides high speed robust processing of CAD file formats and copying functionality using a large touch screen user interface. Features include scanning and printing to and from USB storage devices, enhanced queue management and file naming/indexing allows for advanced workflow flexibilities to help jobs move efficiently through the shop.
