UXBRIDGE, U.K., November 18, 2013 – Xerox announced today that graphic communications provider Printfine has installed a Xerox iGen® 150 Press at its print facility in Liverpool.

The new press, supplied by Xerox concessionaire Bytes Document Solutions, will run alongside a recently installed Xerox Colour J75 Press to meet increased customer demand and expand the flexibility of its digital output.

“Over the past few years Printfine has seen rapid expansion supported by Bytes and Xerox, enabling us to secure new customers and work with existing customers in a whole new way,” said Peter Scott, managing director, Printfine.

Scott added, “The flexibility of the iGen 150 means we’re now able to produce a more diverse portfolio – everything from greetings cards, menus, mail shots and newsletters – all ahead of schedule and within budget.”

By investing heavily in a full suite of finishing equipment to complement the iGen, Printfine has built a robust digital department within the business that will support its rapid growth going forward.

“Many print businesses are under pressure to deliver a variety of formats to increasingly tight deadlines and to the same high standard,” said Steve Andrew, production director, Bytes Document Solutions. “Printfine required a highly productive, reliable print solution that could support its growth while providing increased flexibility for its new and existing clients. The iGen150 is ideally placed to support this and is set to be integral to Printfine’s rapidly growing digital business.”
