Uxbridge, U.K., September 20th, 2011 – Xerox has appointed Micro-P as a distributor of its desktop printing and supplies products in the U.K.  Established in 1980, Micro-P is one of the leading distributors of ICT products – such as computers, printers, consumer electronics and mobile solutions – in the U.K. and Irish reseller markets.

Xerox has a well-established strategy to expand its routes to market by growing its channel distribution capacity. Micro-P will complement Xerox’s two existing U.K. distributors, Ingram Micro and Computer 2000.

Since 2006 Xerox has operated its SMARTer distribution model for office printing products in Western Europe. A small number of distributors support some 9,000 Xerox resellers across the region.
