UXBRIDGE, U.K., July 9, 2013 – Xerox announced today that Printagraph Ltd. has installed Scotland’s first Xerox iGen® 150 Press at its digital print facility in Aberdeen as it continues to grow via opening-up new revenue streams.

Printagraph installed the iGen 150 Press, which will run alongside its existing Xerox iGen4 Press, to increase digital print capacity and improve output quality as well as providing a high standard onsite back-up device.

“We have been working with Xerox for a number of years and are always looking to improve our product offerings to our growing customer base,” said Andrew Hall, managing director at Printagraph. “We already see the iGen 150 as an integral part of our business development by enabling us to run jobs in tandem and improve our turnaround times.”

Hall added, “With the new large sheet size (364mm x 660mm), the iGen 150 enables us to diversify our product portfolio and produce a greater range of high value print work. The faster print speed, will also allow us greater productivity as more pages can be printed per sheet.”

In developing high quality print materials including brochures, oil and safety handbooks, and permit handbooks, Printagraph will have the capability to accommodate its customers’ evolving print requirements with the two iGen presses working together.

“Customers expect the highest levels of performance and productivity, and this is precisely where the iGen150 delivers,” said Kevin O’Donnell, marketing manager, Graphic Communications, Xerox UK. “The installation will enable Printagraph to increase its already high level of customer service and act as a platform to continue growing its offerings and customer base.”
