UXBRIDGE, U.K., February 6, 2014 – Xerox today announced that marketing communications provider Latcham Direct has invested in a range of new Xerox digital printing equipment and cross media solutions as part of an over £1 million investment in new technology.
The firm’s investment reflects a growing need for communication providers to not only expand digital print capability but integrate it with digital workflow across email, web and cross media platforms.
“Xerox’s cutting edge technology continues to partner well with our high quality, complex digital print requirements, allowing our business to remain a leader in digital print and fulfillment solutions,” said Mike Hughes, managing director, Latcham Direct. “Our investment will allow us to offer the latest innovations and best possible support to our customers, to meet their current and future needs.”
Latcham Direct’s investment includes the Xerox iGen®4 Diamond Edition, DocuColor® 8080, Nuvera® 314 Perfecting Production System, Nuvera 144 MX Digital Production System and D125 Copier/Printer, complementing a number of existing Xerox products.
These additions will enable the Xerox Premier Partner to:
- further build on its XMPie® cross media services, which were awarded a Xerox Premier Partners 2013 ‘Best-of-the-Best’ award for a multi-channel media campaign executed for Time Magazine Europe
- support Latcham’s print-on-demand offering
- enhance Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) security print capabilities.
“The combination of Xerox digital printing equipment and cross media solutions opens the door to new formats and web services that integrate fully with a digital print portfolio,” said Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K.
