UXBRIDGE, U.K. 4 September, 2013 - Xerox today announced that GD Direct Solutions, a U.K. digital marketing services provider and part of the Garnett Dickinson Group, has installed a Xerox iGen4® Diamond Edition and a Xerox Nuvera® 120 EA Production System to increase its digital personalisation capabilities and support business growth of 30-40 per cent at its operation in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Combined, the two new Xerox devices will enable GD Direct Solutions to increase print capacity and reduce response times to meet customer requirements and improve service levels.

“The addition of the iGen4 Diamond Edition and the Nuvera 120 brings additional capacity to our existing laser and digital capability, along with faster production speeds, a larger sheet size and more flexibility across products.” explained Carl Garnett, managing director, GD Direct Solutions. “Personalisation and targeting is an important part of the direct marketing service we offer to our customers, and this investment will augment our ability to provide this in a commercially viable way.”

GD Direct Solutions was formed within the Garnett Dickinson Group to enhance the Group’s direct marketing capability and meet the changing needs of customers; focusing on the production of high-quality, service orientated direct marketing campaigns across all relevant channels and media. With a strong history in print and direct mail production, it is looking to build on this and help customers communicate more effectively with their customers.

Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K., said: “GD Direct Solutions has invested in a strong technology platform to deliver future growth. Now it is time for GD and Xerox in partnership to concentrate on what matters most - delivering more jobs and satisfying more customers.”
