UXBRIDGE, U.K., March 2, 2015 – Data driven secure print and online document delivery specialist Datagraphic has invested in the Xerox Rialto™ 900 Inkjet Press as part of a seven-figure investment in new print hardware and systems. Datagraphic is the first in the UK to acquire the new Xerox inkjet device, launched at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2015 last week.
“This press has come to the market at just the right time,” said Robert Hoon, managing director, Datagraphic. “We had been looking for a press with the capacity and footprint to support increasing document volumes. With this investment we will streamline production processes and improve efficiency to deliver on the increased demand we’re seeing for hybrid mail and data driven documents in our multi-channel services.”
The Rialto 900 offers first-of-its kind features and carves out a new space within the booming production colour inkjet segment. The world’s only fully-integrated roll-to-cut-sheet, narrow web inkjet press is designed for print providers who produce 1.5 to 5 million impressions per month. It has the smallest footprint of any inkjet press on the market – 3.58 x 1.55 metres (including the press tower) – a cost-effective option for various production environments, and 1000 x 1000 dpi perceived resolution for high-quality output.
“With the Rialto 900 Datagraphic will continue to be at the cutting edge of data driven document delivery,” said Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K. “Through faster turnarounds and improved production efficiency, this investment will enable them to continue delivering high quality service to their current customers whilst also taking their business operation on to a new level.”
Datagraphic’s product portfolio also includes a Xerox iGen 3® Press, Xerox Nuvera® 120 and 144 Production Systems and a Xerox Colour 1000 Press.
