The annual Quocirca Evolving MPS Landscape report, provides an overview of the growth in the European MPS market, strengths and weaknesses of leading MPS service providers and a future outlook. Within the report, Quocirca includes a vendor positioning grid [based on market presence and completeness of offering] which singles out Xerox as a market leader for MPS.
According to the report, Xerox’s depth and breadth of services, established portfolio and delivery capabilities attribute to and reinforce its lead in the market. Today, Xerox works with clients like Proctor & Gamble, Reuters, The Dow Chemical Company and EMC to reduce operational costs by up to 30% and make the most of the print infrastructure they’ve invested in – from the office to the print shop to remote working.
Xerox recently announced the launch of Enterprise Print Services [EPS], its first offering to help large organisations manage their office, production and external print production as a single outsourced service. EPS also supports the print needs of the growing population of home-based and remote workers. This capability to manage print across the enterprise was one of the key Xerox strengths which Quocirca identified in its report.
Commenting on the report, Shaun Pantling, director and general manager of Xerox Global Services, Europe said: “Xerox’s position as a market leader in Quocirca’s MPS report reaffirms the value and strength of our offering. We work with our MPS customers across Europe to understand often complex print environments and the changing printing needs of office based and remote workers.”
“With a comprehensive view of the global infrastructure, we simplify printing processes to help businesses ensure printing is cost-effective, productive and environmentally sustainable across the entire enterprise, not just in the physical office.”
