Xerox Opens New Innovation Centre in the U.K.

New European customer facility showcases Xerox’s industry-leading technology and managed print services

UXBRIDGE, U.K., January 21, 2014 – Xerox today announced a major extension of its Innovation Centre, sited at its U.K. and European headquarters in Uxbridge, West London.

The expanded Innovation Centre enables Xerox to demonstrate to customers and channel partners its full range of technology and next generation managed print services offerings for simplifying how work gets done.

The centre will also work in partnership with Xerox’s long established network of research centres, including the Xerox Research Centre Europe in Grenoble, France and PARC, a Xerox Company, in Palo Alto, California, to give customers and channel partners a peak into the future of innovations at Xerox. 

The Innovation Centre space comprises three distinct areas:

  • A Discovery Area where visitors interact with experts and discuss ways to simplify how works gets done across their business. 
  • An 80-seat, state-of-the-art auditorium for presentations and large meetings.
  • A 30-seat café area provides additional space for networking and breakout meetings.  

Darren Cassidy, managing director of Xerox U.K., said: “We wanted to bring our customers closer to our technology and services, so they can actually see how we can help them automate workflows, manage content and analyse documents, to improve productivity. The Innovation Centre should surprise a few people, and we’re confident that all visitors will leave with a better understanding of innovation at Xerox and the benefits our services deliver to customers.”

The new extension is complemented by a recently refurbished technology area that showcases Xerox’s extensive range of printing devices for office and production environments.
